Extrusion molding plays an important role in the molding of rubber and plastic foam insulation materials, tire tread, inner lining, and other rubber and plastic pipe and sheet materials. In the traditional production process of rubber and plastic pipe and sheet materials, there are technical and engineering problems such as high energy consumption, uneven material mixing and dispersion, and low product molding quality. It is urgent to upgrade and innovate the complete set of technologies to meet the development requirements of the modern rubber and plastic industry.




This project has conducted research on the key technologies and industrial applications of energy-saving extrusion molding for high-performance rubber and plastic pipe sheets, and constructed a theoretical research system and method for extrusion feed energy consumption; Developed a three-dimensional hybrid high-efficiency extrusion technology for radial and tangential mixed pins; Invented an online testing method for rubber viscosity during the extrusion process, which achieves optimal energy consumption extrusion through online regulation of rubber viscosity; Invented high-performance flexible rubber plastic foam pipe sheet energy-saving continuous foam forming and shaping technology and equipment, achieving uniform foaming and shaping of rubber plastic materials. The project has authorized 18 invention patents, 12 utility model patents, 2 computer software copyrights, published over 30 related papers, formulated 3 national standards and 2 industry standards, formed independent innovative technological achievements and achieved industrialization, achieving significant economic and social benefits.

3、 Project Introduction




With the support of the Technology Innovation Fund for Small and Medium sized Enterprises of the Ministry of Science and Technology (2012GH040559) and other projects, this project has conducted research on the key technologies and applications of energy-saving extrusion molding for high-performance rubber and plastic foam pipe sheets. Through industry university research cooperation, a complete set of energy-saving extrusion molding technology and equipment for high-performance rubber and plastic pipe sheets has been formed, and the produced high-performance rubber and plastic foam pipe sheets have achieved large-scale application. The main content is as follows: (1) A theoretical research system and method for the energy consumption of extrusion feeding have been constructed, and a mathematical model for the power consumption of the rubber strip during the feeding wedge gap process has been established. (2) Invented three-dimensional mixed extrusion technology with radial and tangential mixing pins, achieving energy-saving low-temperature extrusion. (3) Invented an online testing method for rubber viscosity during the extrusion process, providing effective technical support for online regulation of rubber viscosity to achieve optimal energy consumption extrusion. (4) We have invented a high-performance flexible rubber plastic foam pipe sheet energy-saving continuous foam forming and shaping technology, which can adapt to different rubber plastic materials, formulas, and product specifications, save 20-50% of electrical energy, and achieve low-carbon, energy-saving, and green environmental protection in the production process.




The project has authorized 18 invention patents, 12 utility model patents, 2 computer software copyrights, published over 30 related papers, formulated 3 national standards and 2 industry standards, trained 10 master's students, formed independent innovative technological achievements, and achieved industrialization.




4、 Objective evaluation




1. The appraisal opinion passed is (Lu Jiao Ke Jian Zi [2015] No. 50): The overall level of the project has reached the international advanced level.




2. The project product has been recognized by the Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission as the first major equipment product in Jiangsu Province.




3. Develop 3 national standards and 2 industry standards.




4. The innovation technology of the project product has been checked by the Shandong Provincial Chemical Information Center both domestically and internationally, indicating that there are currently no literature reports on the same novelty points as this project.




5. The project product has passed IQNet international certification.




5、 Promotion and application situation




This project aims to address technical and engineering challenges such as high energy consumption, uneven material mixing and dispersion, and poor product forming quality in the production process of rubber and plastic pipe sheets. A theoretical system and method for energy consumption in extrusion feeding have been constructed, and a three-dimensional hybrid energy-saving extrusion technology and equipment for radial and tangential pins have been invented. An online testing method and device for rubber viscosity during the extrusion process have been developed, and a high-performance flexible rubber and plastic foam pipe sheet energy-saving continuous foam forming and shaping technology has been invented, We have developed key technologies and equipment for energy-saving extrusion molding of high-performance rubber and plastic foam pipe sheets, reducing energy consumption in the production process, greatly improving molding quality and accuracy, and achieving large-scale production and application of high-performance rubber and plastic foam pipe sheets. Our products are exported to more than 20 countries and regions such as Europe, the United States, and Asia Pacific. In terms of insulation materials, the high-end rubber plastic pipe and sheet foam insulation materials produced are widely used in various fields such as buildings, air conditioning, refrigeration, chemical industry, medicine, light textile, metallurgy, ships, vehicles, electrical appliances, etc., and have taken the lead in producing EPDM rubber plastic foam insulation materials, which are currently the development direction of insulation materials at home and abroad; In the field of rubber tires, this project technology has been applied in the production of radial tire tread and inner lining, improving tire quality. The industrial promotion and application of this project technology has improved the international market competitiveness of China's rubber processing and forming technology and equipment, cultivated a group of professional talents in rubber processing technology and equipment, and is of great significance for building a resource-saving society.
